Volunteerism in Debate which will be held in November, 2011 in Cordoba, Spain is a Youth in Action Programme – Action 5.1 - Meetings of young people and those responsible for youth policy.
The main objective of this project is to contribute to raise cooperation and structured dialogue in several volunteerism aspects, between young people, youth workers and those responsible of the decision-making, coming from different EU countries. This action takes in account the recommendations given in the Council resolution on a renewed framework for European cooperation in the youth field (2010-2018) and will be developed through workshops, debates and round-tables, according to the principles of Non Formal education. A Maltese delegation is being built by Malta UNESCO Youth Association which is made up of the following;4 young people aged between 18 and 30 years old with a good command of English (priority should be given to young people that take part in voluntary activities at local level or those who have participated in the European Voluntary Service-EVS) 1 Politician at local/regional/national level, in charge of Youth or Volunteering field, without age limit. Seminar dates: (21st- 26thNovember 2011)Seminar venue: Córdoba, Spain. Project coordinator: Plataforma Andaluza de Voluntariado (Andalusian Volunteering Platform) Travel expenses are covered up to 50% of the whole travel costs. Accomodation and food will be provided for by the host organisation.
