Eleo and the bubble planet

ELEO AND THE BUBBLE PLANET

"In a faraway bubbly happy planet where everyone lives life in peace and harmony with one another, young Eleo runs into his grandfather's house. He is looking for some answers, only to find out that he had been chosen for a mission. But before he sets off, his grandfather Bobbla needs to give him some precious information that will help him along the way"
The Children's book on Human Rights will present the 30 Articles in the Universal Declaration on Human Rights through a story 'lived' by a main cartoon character

'Eleo and the Bubble Planet', a book based on the Universal Declaration on Human Rights is a project  run by the 'Malta UNESCO Youth Association' and funded by the European Youth Fund of the Council of Europe. The book takes the Universal Declaration on Human Rights and re-writes it in a children friendly language,  targeted at children of 6 to 12 years of age. It is an illustrated book, full of fun for distribution in primary and middle schools.

In its first phase the book was distributed to primary schools in Malta, Estonia, Bulgaria & Slovenia. The second phase was the publication of a Maltese translation, in collaboration with the Commission for Children, Malta. We are now moving into the third stage of this project, and translating this book into several other languages, aimed for distribution in secondary schools. With the help of further funding and collaboration we hope to continue this project, through it's final stage, that of a distribution over European Countries.
