Malta UNESCO Youth Association is looking for two participants having a serious interest in the topic of bullying both in the cyber world and the real world. The training course provides the chance for youth leaders from around Europe the chance to up-skill and be in a position to address the issues that affect young people. The Training Course is a week-long training workshop on Bullying (both in the Cyber World and in the real world of our Youth Clubs and Projects). We need to address the safety of the youth in our care and our own safety also, as youth leaders. Dates: May 19th - 26th, 2013 Place: East Galway, Ireland Training Course Schedule The following subheadings represent the daily aims & directions of the training.. Day 1: Travel day / Introductions to the programme Day 2: Introductions / Ice breakers / Energisers / ETC! Day 3: Internet, Phones & Media Use, Guest Speakers Day 4: Cyber Bullying, Case Studies & Laws Day 5: Social Networking (Facebook, Youtube, Twitter etc!) Day 6: Prepare & deliver a practical 1.5 hour workshop to local Youth Clubs / Projects & Parents Group (5 groups of 5 participants X 1 delivery each grouping) Day 7: De-briefing from the Workshop Presentations – New Projects Idea Generation Final Evaluations & Youthpass Compositions & Party Day 8: Departures Conditions: Travel reimbursed 70%, Accommodation, training and food 100% covered.
