 Malta UNESCO Youth Association is looking for young people to participate in a youth exchange from the 6 - 16 September, 2011, entitled CreatiVIty6 – Volunteering + Activism.
120 young people from 12 countries of the European Union, will come together in a specially arranged place within the premises of the «Tsaf Tsouf» summer camp (http://www.tsaftsouf.gr) at Orphani Kavalas in Greece. During this time, they will participate in and contribute to artistic workshops (street theater, music, dance, video, cinema, photography, visuals, web radio, multimedia, circus) in view of creating for and expressing themselves about volunteering and activism. The participants, using their expression and creativity, make statements and exchange opinions through which, they foster their perception to and respect for multiculturalism, take part in discussions and seek for new ways for promoting the ideas of volunteering and active citizenship. In parallel, they are involved in sports’ activities, intercultural nights, exhibitions and music nights. This project is organized with the support of the European Commission’s «Youth in Action» Programme, sub‐action 1.1 – Youth exchanges. «Creativity» youth exchange is open to all young people, no previous experience or qualifications required. The youth exchange is aimed at youth aged 18 to 25 years of age. The Maltese group will be made up of five young people and a leader. The flight and any transport costs will be 70% refunded while the accommodation and food will be fully covered by the host organisation.
