Food and accommodation 100% free. 10 EUR Participation fee + Membership fee of 5 EUR for non-members. Participation fee of €30 payable to host organisation. Host: Centre for Capacity Building & Empowerment Countries: Malta, Poland, Turkey, Macedonia, France, Croatia, Portugal, Italy, Lativa, Sweden Sending Organisation: Malta UNESCO Youth Association Project Description: The project Theatre as a tool for social development" is a 10 day training course that will group 30 youth workers and youth leaders from 10 EU countries. This TC aims to provide youth workers with competencies on how to use theatre and drama techniques in their everyday work as a means for youth inclusion. Theatre and Drama both have significant implications in inclusion and learning, however its applicability to the educational system is not yet developed. Through the main themes of this project, participants will learn to cooperate with each other, approach knowledge via experiential learning, solve problems, take decisions, acquire empathy, and to recognize the needs of others.
