Dates: 4th to 12th September 2022 Type: Erasmus+ (KA1- Youth Exchange) Participants needed: 5 participants + 1 leader Age: 18-30 Location: Arrouquelas, Rio Maior (Portugal) Costs:Travel costs covered up to a limit of €300. Food and accommodation are 100% free. 10 EUR Participation fee + Membership fee of 5 EUR for non-members. Host Organisation: "H2O"-Associação de Jovens de Arrouquelas Sending Organisation: Malta UNESCO Youth Association Project Description: This YE will focus on social inclusion and personal development in relation to challenges presented by the environment and climate change. By the end of the exchange, participants will: -Adopt environmental-friendly practices -Advocate, lobby and lead campaigns to participate more in civic life -Create innovative and sustainable environmental solutions -Promote diversity, social inclusion and intercultural learning -Make a positive impact on mental ideologies The improvement in these skills will help young people take charge of their lives and careers, and will help them to create new enterprises. The activity will be high-end camping with access to normal facilities such as kitchen, showers etc. All applicants must be fully vaccinated as this is a requirement for travel to Portugal. Interested applicants are to fill the participation form by the 8th August 2022. |
