MUYA coordinates Crocus Project in Malta

The Malta UNESCO Youth Association is the coordinator of the Crocus Project in Malta. 

The aim of the Crocus Project is to increase awareness about the Holocaust amongst school children and raises discussion amongst the younger generation of what one could do not to repeat such tragic events in the history of mankind.

The fall of the Berlin Wall 20 years ago today is a reminder of the difference that ordinary people can make for the greater good, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon said today, urging the world to salute those fighting to enhance human rights and freedoms.
